9300 Realty Falls in Love with Midtown & Lower Manhattan

New York is one of the most loved cities in the world. 9300 Realty NYC has fallen in love with all of Manhattan – and our Midtown & Lower Manhattan neighborhoods are making our hearts skip a beat this February. As they say around Valentine’s Day, “Let us count the ways…” So we will! Here’s a highlight of a few of our favorite luxury New York apartment neighborhoods.

SoHo Much to Love in SoHo New York

A sweet surrender on the holiday made for love sings its siren song loudest in Soho. Do you know why they call it “Soho?” The neighborhood was named years ago, simply to in reference to its location, South of Houston Street. The sentence was shortened into the contraction it is today.

These days, many people call Soho New York’s cupcake capital, with the neighborhood’s many well-known cupcake shops. Another shop, Georgetown Cupcakes based in Washington, D.C. has claimed an attractive piece of New York real estate on Mercer Street just in time for Valentine’s Day – and the 9300 Realty NYC team has a sweet tooth!

East Village to West Village NYC: Lower Manhattan Meets at Union Square

Moving North of Soho to stroll the beautiful parks in the East Village of New York, we often pass by the legendary Katz Deli & playact a scene or two from that iconic film of New York-style love, “When Harry Met Sally.” During the winter in 9300 Realty New York, you can find a lovely Holiday Market at Union Square, where the East Village meets the West Village. You could even call Union Square the belt buckle of Midtown Manhattan – connecting central Manhattan to the southern East and West Village neighborhoods, which are both bound in by Houston Street and 14th Street.

Following the Holiday Market, Union Square rolls out the Yoga mat of welcome to Spring, with a free weekly class. Energized, the window shopping on Bleecker Street in the West Village gives us the chance to have our own episode of Sex & The City, complete with a New York apartment overlooking a busy street! And to close out a daydream day in the West Village, what better than a dreamy evening with your date at Village Vanguard, enjoying the playful melodies and rhythms of good jazz.

Midtown Manhattan’s Jewels: Gramercy& Murray Hill Neighborhoods

Our other two favorite Manhattan neighborhoods moving further north in Midtown are Murray Hill and Gramercy. We confess to saving the best for last here, because in Gramercy New York, February is a Holiday all its own: Hot Chocolate Festival at The City Bakery. When you add to this pleasure the nearby Bryant Park in Times Square, New York City can’t offer a more romantic day for the 9300 Realty team!

The whirlwind Manhattan romance starts with brunch at a luxury Midtown New York apartment, and moves to Bryant Park where we laughingly learn to ice-skate in the clear evening air, and finishes at the City Bakery in Gramercy, where the anticipation of warming up with the daily special in the Hot Chocolate Festival is finally satisfied!

Doesn’t New York sound wonderful? Now you know a few reasons why we at 9300 Realty can’t resist loving NYC at Valentine’s Day!
